The aftermath…
good morning folks
It’s been a long time since I’ve done a written blog. I fell off of some of my routines because the last few months have frankly been batshit crazy. So! Im back.
Happy belated 4th of July to everyone. Im obviously not an american, but I had a blast last night wearing an american flag cape, blowing things up and watching other people blow things up with a cold budweiser in hand and a belly full of cheeseburger and cole slaw ( alright, maybe you didn’t need to know that but it completes the visual… contrary to non popular belief, I have team spirit for America) and running around in the driveway not exercising fire safety whatsoever. I realize now, that I didn’t really do a good job at all keeping in touch on the road and sharing on the website. I suppose I just expect everyone to have a Facebook and follow me on it which is incredibly ignorant of me, I know. So, I gathered some of the funnier and more important photos I took on this last tour and will post them in here and explain the chain of events to the best of my ability at 9:44am still only on my first cup of coffee surrounded by grumpy half awake people at starbucks.

This is Dan Ellie and I on our way to blow up Chicago, FL for a night. I told everyone to bring diapers.

Hair of the dog: day 7 of SBSF no sleep and sort of fueling myself to get through the last gig and last recording session.

Dan, Ellie, and I in our hotel room before our first show at SBSF. It was a long night and Im pretty sure we smelled very bad by the end of it.

Full band show in Chicago, IL at Liar's Club. Rock n Roll at its dirtiest. With Dan on drums and Ellie on bass.

The absolutely dreadful drive back from Chicago, IL to Madison, WI at 8am to get Dan back for work by 11am. Dangerous and reckless.

I found sparklers at Target so I got about 16 boxes of them. Dan and I sat up almost all night burning through all of them. No occasion, just cause.

Ellie got laryngitis the first day of tour. This was our idea of medicating it. The deodorant was just for prevention of smelling bad however.
So there ya go. This was a little bit of a recap of tour. A lot more sleepless nights happened than you can see here, but thats a given. I think out of 22 days I watched the sun come up 20 of those days.
I will do my best to write in here more often, until then keep up with me on Facebook.
