The food fight revenge

Well, what a long long long weekend it has been. A quick recap is in order:
CD came out on Friday officially up for sale here on our website and at our live gigs. I do have to admit it was very exciting for me to sit at the computer and watch the first dozen orders come in, I was jumping up and down screaming off the top of my lungs ha. Also, I put up a donate button for those of you out there that are more fortunate and wealthy than us to help with the costly repair of our tour van if you could/wanted to.

We have received many donations so far, just over $3,000 and counting. It’s no where near what we need but we appreciate every dollar, we really really do. It’s looking like we may have to cancel another tour date. I said I would post cancellations this weekend and it’s just been crazy. Promise I’ll do it tomorrow.
Friday night’s show was electric! What an amazing turnout and such a great vibe from the crowd. Thanks for all of those who came out to rock it with us, we had a blast!

Yesterday was a strange, strange day. We stayed up way too late and woke up way too early. Our cavalier Gracie was bleeding in the morning and had a wound and had to rush her to the vet. She’ll be ok it was just an alarming and painful experience for all parties involved.
Then we drove to Lake Worth, loaded in and walked around the little down town area. It’s a cute little town. The venue we played was killer! It’s called Propaganda, super cool room, projecors everywhere screening old style propaganda and real cool drawings on the walls. The turn out was pretty good concidering there was a festival 10 miles down the road. Then we went to stay with our drummer in a hotel a couple of blocks down the street. Some strange jamacan people owned it and were sitting outside on a bench spying on us looking through the window. I fell asleep on the couch in the den while some beers exploded in my backpack. I was awoken by really annoying pigeons tapping and cooing on the windowpane above the bed. On the drive back to st pete we stopped at a rest area and got some food at Earl of Sandwich and the girl who made my tuna melt was a jerk. I paid for tomatos and lettuce and she didn’t put it on and when I asked her if it was on there she walked away from me and ignored me and came back and threw a bag of tomato slices and lettuce my way. I got so heated I wanted to throw a tomato slice at her head on the way out but I didn’t want to get arrested for assult by tomato. I just really don’t like to be shit on by other peoples bad moods. I’ve worked retail my whole  life and I know it sucks, but it’s not your place to be rude and an asshole to a stranger.

Got home, had matt and boomer from marksmen over, my sister and her boyfriend came too. Had dinner, a bonfire and some fishing. Nice Sunday with the fam.

Tomorrow I will mail out the first batch of CDs so keep an eye out for your package. Hopefully tomorrow well know some more about the van and tour. At this point we don’t have funds to fix it, or rent a van nor buy one. So please be thinking of us and hoping we get lucky somehow.

Thank you all for buying the new record.
